Firm Profile

Since its founding in 1996, Sloan Architects, P.C., has established a reputation as an architectural firm of imagination and integrity. We continuously provide our academic, commercial, and residential clients with an entire range of architectural services, from design through construction. Our ability to offer unmatched design versatility has led us to ongoing relationships with such noted institutions as the Anderson Center for Autism, Vassar College, and Bright Horizons Family Solutions, one of the top corporate childcare providers in the nation. Of equal distinction are our commercial commissions, where practiced knowledge of function, space planning, and site conditions have secured us a wide range of projects, from a nursery, country club, and market places to adaptive re-use condominiums. Our residential clients have turned to us for renovations and additions to traditional 18th & 19th century homes, contemporary second homes for metropolitan families, and whimsical, poetic, and contemplative structures for large estate owners.

Design Philosophy

Our ability to satisfy such a wide variety of clients on many levels, from aesthetic to budgetary, to quality of work, stems from our firms philosophy.   We really believe in listening to our clients, and we will not dismiss their concerns or impose unwanted styles on them.  We listen closely to their needs, and work with them to make certain all the project goals and objectives are met.  We ensure that each project is innovative and distinctive by advancing an existing style to a new level of aesthetics.  We protect our clients by providing thorough construction documents, and with our extensive construction knowledge, we are able to oversee the construction process to ensure the work is done correctly.
