Davis Hall at Anderson Center for Autism - Staatsburg, NY
Due to its character, scale and complimentary style to the new campus housing being built, Davis Hall’s fate was to be saved, restored and renovated for the continued use as student residences. Davis Hall continues the theme of creating a home-like environment for the children who live and learn at the Center. Besides the private bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms, there are integrated laundry rooms for life skills learning, multi-use spaces for games and puzzles, as well as family- style dining areas to complete the image of a home. The two story addition, and the deep front porch not only merge seamlessly with the existing structure but also enhance the overall campus-scape.
